As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will work closely with the Lifestyle team to promote social interaction, wellbeing, and a sense of purpose, helping to create a warm and inclusive environment where residents can thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting in the planning and delivery of group and one-on-one activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities
• Supporting residents to participate in activities that enhance their social, physical, and emotional wellbeing
• Encouraging independence and promoting meaningful engagement in daily routines
• Collaborating with team members to ensure activities align with residents’ care plans
• Setting up, maintaining, and tidying activity spaces to provide a safe and inviting environment
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to foster a sense of community

What We’re Looking For

• A passion for working with older adults and enhancing their quality of life
• Creativity and enthusiasm for organising and supporting activities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with residents and families
• A collaborative and adaptable approach to working as part of a team
• Previous experience in aged care, community care, or a similar role (preferred but not essential)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Monitoring and documenting residents’ health, wellbeing, and progress
• Supporting the implementation of individualised care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff
• Promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and quality of life

What We’re Looking For

• A relevant qualification in aged care or a related field (or working towards one)
• Experience in the aged care or healthcare industry, preferably in a similar role
• Compassionate and empathetic communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to person-centred care
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing clinical care, including assessments, wound care, and medication management
• Monitoring and documenting residents’ health, wellbeing, and care plans
• Leading and mentoring care staff to deliver person-centred care
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and review individualised care plans
• Ensuring compliance with aged care quality standards and regulations
• Promoting a culture of safety, dignity, and respect for residents and their families

What We’re Looking For

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated experience in aged care, healthcare, or a similar role
• Strong clinical knowledge and critical-thinking skills
• Compassionate and empathetic communication and interpersonal abilities
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
• The ability to lead, support, and collaborate with a team effectively
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
